Race start will be at the opposite (eastern) end of the park. Please enter from Highland Avenue (opposite Pingree School). Directions - Stay south on Asbury Street past the main gate and continue for 2 miles to the stop sign in Hamilton. Turn left on Highland. Look for East entrance gate 1.2 miles on the left which will be open. Drive in and park near the pool. There will be folks telling you where to park . Start will be close to parking area. We will offer four events - 24 hour ultra, 12 hour ultra, 24 hour relay and marathon. The flat race course is run on sidewalks and paths around scenic Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA. Landry & French Construction Sugarloaf Marathon & 15K Carrabassett Valley, ME USA May 19, 2013 May 19th, 2013 Marathon •The Marathon starts at 7am at Cathedral Pines Campground in Eustis, Maine on Sunday, May 19. Transportation to the start is available for all marathon runners. Buses will leave from Tranten's Parking Lot in Kingfield (across from the race finish line) at 5:30am sharp. Sugarloaf resort pick-up is available ONLY at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel lobby at 5:45am. A 6:00AM start time is available for walkers who are expected to finish after 1:00pm. Results from 6:00AM starts will not be counted towards a Boston Marathon qualification or Sugarloaf cash prizes. For those using the 6:00am start, a shuttle will leave Tranten's at 5am. Please note, due to timing restrictions we will not be able to hold the shuttle for any reason. Baggage transport is available from the start to the finish line. There will be a shuttle after the race for Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel drop-off only. 15K •The 15K starts at 7:30am at Ayotte's Country Store in Carrabassett Valley, Maine on Sunday, May 19.
